Session 4
Kidnappers, Splicing and Stealthiness!

Back at the ship Antodarr and Jorah are selected to scout the Location where the drop is planned, they arrive at the granary silos and attempt to locate tactically a important locations (unfortunately this is not their area of expertise) after walking around stealthy for a while, Jorah decides to set up a 3 camera’s and then they make their way back to the ship.

Sula sends Anya an email about what is going on but she needs additional help so Sula sends Jorah to Anya to get additional data. They spend the day attempting to hack into the cameras around the station, after reviewing the security schematics, they determine that only a on-site hack can accomplish this. Jorah goes to S’zahpir to see if they should hack into the camera’s, they discuss the benefits and determine it is too much of a risk, however insanity with butterfly kisses and whispering ensues.

The gang goes to the rendezvous point; Jorah, Sula and S’zahpir go in the main way, with Antodarr coming in stealthy as backup. Zekk is present with a large crate, S’zahpir walks forward and Zekk motions for Sula and Jorah to stay behind. Once S’zahpir shows the credit chit, Zekk shows him that there is a little girl inside the crate, who has been heavily sedated. They make the exchange, while this happens Sula notices that on the top of one of the grain silos, a sniper is hidden. She keeps an eye out on this. S’zahpir quickly gathers the girl and gets her back to the cargo speeder. Sula texts over the network the location of the sniper. When he is safe, S’zahpir says, “Too bad we were not able to save the other slave children…”. For some reason, this sets off Jorah, who uses his jet-pack to get to the silo where the sniper was located – he then engages in hand to hand combat with Cado, Zekks brother.

Seeing Jorah enter into action – Antodarr and Sula rush to stop Zekk from escaping. Antodarr sees Zekk jump on a speeder and power it up, he throws a ion grenade attempting to disable the speeder, but miscalculated the distance and throws the grenade against the granary, missing the speeder completely. Sula shoots the speeder with her ion pistol, but doesn’t do enough damage to stop it from lifting off. The speeder lifts up 50 feet and hovers around the top of the silo where Jorah and Cado are engaged in hand to hand combat. The fight is not going well for Jorah, while he is not taking much damage, he is also not landing much damage onto Cado – their skills appear to be evenly matched.

Antodarr, frustrated with his earlier grenade mishap, times his next ion grenade perfectly, throwing it up into the air and detonating onto the speeder – smoke starts billowing away from the speeder and it lowers a few feet – but it still remains in the air. S’zahpir drives up to the silo, and uses his force powers to force choke Zekk into unconsciousness, this causes the speeder to hit the silo – Jorahs superior reflexes allow him to keep his footing, Cado is not so skilled and falls flat on his back. Sula shoots the speeder again, causing it to come crashing down. Zekk falls out of the speeder, unconscious, bleeding and broken.

S’zahpir pushes Cado off the edge of the silo, who falls the 50 feet, hitting his head and falling unconscious. Sula, seeing the wreckage of the speeder, notes to the party that worker droids and security will be on the way, they wrap up the Rodian’s in mesh tape and pile them into the cargo speeder. They exit the area without any additional incidents. S’zahpir contacts Gester Avencray for a rendezvous point and let her know that they have the child and the kidnappers. They meet at a warehouse, it is a very emotional meeting. Gester and her husband are in tears and rush over taking their now sleeping daughter in their arms. After composing herself, Gester hands her daughter to her husband and asks that he take her to the waiting car. She then thanks S’zahpir , who then asks her for assistance in entering the 3rd floor – she stops him before he provides any details on our objective, but after a terse exchange, she agrees to help – but wants assurances that whatever the group’s goal – it doesn’t hurt Zerka corp – she has no fucks to give about the Ithorians. As an added bonus, she takes the party to the storage area of the Zerka warehouse, and allows each member of the party to take 1 advanced item of their choice.

Gester and S’zahpir make plans to meet for the next night, Gester request that the party also send an email from the Herd alpha to the appropriate leader of the Ithorians, which will provide Zerka with permission to do mining in the area they need. 2 members of the part will be able to accompany Gester to the 3rd floor mission on the next night. The Group reviews the datapad that was left by Zekk after the exchange, finding a location where additional children were being held, they went to the location but where only able to save 3 of the 4 children due to the booby-trap that was set.

Antodarr and Jorah are selected to accompany Gester the next day to scout out the Municipal Building. They are taken through security and provided security badges. Unexpectedly, they happened upon a maintenance room where Jorah is able to hack into the networks, after an intense splicing battle – Jorah not only downloaded the virus and sent Gester’s email – he was able to upgrade their security badge access and add in a data bomb that will destroy all the personnel data if anyone looks for his information. Later that night, using the upgraded security badge, Antodarr was able to sneak into the 3rd floor of the municipal building – his extreme skills allowing him to sneak undetected throughout the building. He then climbs the Ithorian tree of light up to the idol and steals the prize. He then escapes without a trace.

Session 3
Just a little torture...

The following day, S’zaphir and Sula go to the public area of the municipal building, where S’zaphir talks to various individuals throughout and eventually figures out that two of the elder clan members, Gorban and Dobo are having a power struggle, essentially fighting over which clans are more important.

After a while, two Humans enter and start causing a ruckus regarding an appointment with Choto Na (the Ithor Alpha), he overhears that the female human has access to the 2nd and 3rd floor and is from the Zerka Corp, who is here attempting to get mining rights on the planet surface. The humans are both pretty upset at the receptionist, Lan. S’zaphir enters the conversation, attempting to mediate.

The man is Denarin Avencre a geologist who is working as a prospector for Zerka. The woman is his wife, Gester Avencre, who is the lead negotiator for Zerka on Ithor. She is trying to get someone of authority to talk to her and has already contacted the police. Eventually she admits that their daughter has been kidnapped and the Ithoran authorities are not doing anything to find her, she is a 4 year old girl – taken 2 days ago. They have talked to the police however this is something that happens with weak members of the Ithorian populace. Due to the evolutionary herd mentality of the Ithorians, this isn’t really something they consider an important task to investigate. They have talked with multiple people (including the chair speaker) but because they are part of Zerka and because of her negotiation tactics, they are not very popular on the station so the authorities are not being helpful. So far, No ransom or demands have been presented as of yet.

S’zaphir talks with Gester and volunteers to investigate and find her daughter, she is very suspicious of S’zaphir but agrees that if the party finds their daughter and proves they are not part of the plot of the kidnapping She will owe the party. Back at the ship S’zaphir informs the party of this new development. Sula reaches out to her Exchange contact, Barkor Gaz, to get information about potential underground activity in Trandormire, and finds that there are a pair of Rodian brothers (Zekk and Cado) who handle narcotics and forced “immigration” through Hutt space. They operate out of a gambling den which is registered as a pawn shop, Barkor provides the address and lets Sula know that these are pretty unpleasant people.

Jorah, Sula & S’zaphir make their way to the pawn shop. After scoping out the area, Sula rigs an ion explosive to the main power grid with a remote detonator, which Jorah has. The group enters the pawn shop and finds a guy manning the pawn shop who is very intimidated by Jorah in his full mandaloran gear and does not want to cooperate. Eventually he gets so scared he freaks out and sends a warning to people through a halo net – S’zaphir uses his force sense to find a secret door and presses the button to open it. Behind it, is another door with an identity scanner.

Sula jumps over counter, grabs the guy in a head lock and drags him down the hall, bumping his head across the walls as she goes through and using him open the door and then using him as a human shield as she enters.

There are 3 individuals in the room – 1 human, 1 Quarren and 1 Rodian – they point their pistols at Sula and to the left is an open door. Sula says “Party Time” and Jorah triggers the remote the ion grenade which cuts the power to this area.

The lights go out and combat ensues – Sula engages the Rodian in combat who seems to be able to see in the dark, the other two are blind shooting blind. Jorah quickly disarms the human and the Quarren while Sula knocks out the Rodian. S’zaphir runs out of the shop and convinces the growing crowd of people that he saw a Rodian mess with the power and was directed to where he keeps a speeder. S’zaphir finds him and uses his force powers to choke him unconscious.

The party regroups and takes both unconscious Rodian’s to a undisclosed location and uses “gentle” techniques to identify which one is Zekk and get the information needed. It is difficult, but eventually they figure out which one is Zekk and after some convincing a deal was made where for 1000 credits he will give them the 4 year old human girl at an location at sunset.

During this time, Antodarr staked out the library and used his supreme stealth skills to get access to the records room and received copies of the floor plans for the buildings they needed and exited the building without causing alarm.

Session 2
A Full Party!

The party meet at the shipping dock, where they see their ship: The Hunters Star. Korwin provides the credits for the successful job and the party boards the ship. They then meet the others who will accompany them on the journey, including Anya, a red skinned twi’lek woman who will be a debriefing them on the mission from last night as well as Ka-Tu-Un an an Imperial Probe droid.

Korwin lets the party know that the goal of enterprise is for them to complete 5 Missions – 2000 credits per mission will be awarded with 15k credit bonus each at end of last missions. The plan starts with the Party heading to Duros for the last member of the crew.

The party sets off, with a little clash between Anya and Sula, whose personalities don’t seem to mesh. They land at Duros, admiring the strange planet which has yellow ground and purple sky – there the meet Antodorr, the last member of the party. Once he boards the ship they begin their journey to Ithor- a planet wide jungle, specifically -Trandormire which is a space station whose technology is supplied by the republic.

Korwin provides additional information on the natives, including that the Ithor people are not skilled with technology, as a result all their computer systems are in isolated networks – which are the targets. The goal is to get into a municipal building and plant a piece of code into the network – additional objects include:

  • The Authorities must not suspect that their network has been compromised, Municipal Central Computer System
  • Optional – steal a sacred idol – 5kg which will be in one of the buildings – it is a holy relic – theft of this from the building will distract from the PC building. Data indicates that it is located on the top floor of the municipal building.
  • They must complete the objective within 1 week of arrival.

Tentative Plan: Sula & S’zaphir will scope out the IT Departments together information on their comings and goings, while Jorah and Antodarr plants recording devices and camera’s in strategic areas, they will try to find information on where the network resides or how to gain access to the 2nd and 3rd floors and/or their layouts.

Session 1

The party gathered together for the first time to meet their potential employer, or at least his agent, Korwin Silero.

Despite being forced to work with strangers, and their lack of trust, the four operatives agreed to undertake a mission to prove themselves to their new boss, and to learn to work with each other. Although the mission was just an audition to prove their skills it turned out to be a great chance for them to learn each other’s strengths and abilities.

Session_1-_Surprise.jpg The mission was to break into a nightclub owned by Reed Fen, a wealthy patron of the arts and club owner on Corellia. The team decided that their best bet would be to break into the club’s offices, disable the security, and then con their way into the club’s private gallery. For the most part things went very well, but the party’s lack of an infiltrator proved to be a major problem when they were forced to break into the club’s offices using brute force. As a result, the two security guards inside saw the party’s faces, and were able to describe them later to CorSec investigators.

Sula and Jorah were able to disable the guards without causing them any permanent injury, and then disable the clubs security systems. Even though they were spotted by the guards, any physical evidence of their presence was destroyed, giving them a big head start on escaping CorSec later.Session_1-_Liir.jpg

Aramil.jpgThe party left behind other witnesses too, a Duros bouncer named Aramil and a local student named Liir. Fortunately, the first one ended up an accessory to the party’s crime, and the latter was to drunk to describe anyone clearly, so these other witnesses were far less useful to CorSec.

Ultimately, the party succeeded with no preparation and very little planning, and managed to escape the planet hours ahead of the CorSec investigators on their trail.
